Corrales 4th of July Parade!

The 4th of July Parade this Tuesday. If you would like to be a part of the parade here are the particulars:

1.  You can go to the Village website at corrales-nm.org, click on the Parks and Recreations tab and then to registration. They will have waivers at the staging area, but it will relieve chaos if you can get this done beforehand.

 

2. Staging for equestrians is on the south side of the elementary school (200 Target rd.) accessed off Corrales rd. just south of Target rd. Staging will begin at 9:00 a.m. and end at 9:45 a.m. The parade starts at 10 a.m.

 

3. Please they ask that there be no trailers at the school. You can park at Top Form Arena and ride to the school or drop off your equestrians with a guardian while you take the trailer to the arena.

 

4. The equestrians will be the first group out just behind the Color guard and fire truck with the Mayor and Parade Master.

 

5. The Village asks that those under 18 wear a helmet and everyone wear appropriate closed toe shoes. If your equestrian acts up and does not maintain a respectable demeanor the village asks that you remove yourself from the parade route and walk your equestrian to safety.

 

6. The parade finishes at Top Form arena where there will be a food truck.

The Corrales Library will have a fundraiser BBQ at La Entrada Park.

 

If you are unable to be in the parade, please come out and watch or give a helping hand.
